What Is the Challenge About?

COVID-19 impacts have led to a severe and widespread increase in global food insecurity, which is expected to continue through 2021 into 2022, and possibly beyond as the Delta variant continues its spread.

With the world’s population expected to increase by 2 billion in the next 30 years, it becomes more challenging to produce larger volumes of healthier, quality food more sustainably and address matters of deep importance such as poverty reduction, social inclusion, health care, and climate change mitigation.

Alongside the UN Food Systems Summit, World Food Day, celebrated in October this year, calls for better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life.

The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is partnering with Cred. Global to present this 30 Day Challenge to invite youths to take simple but meaningful actions every day to support a healthier and more sustainable food system.

Our actions are our future.

What to Expect
  • Participate in a 30-day challenge to form better, more sustainable habits
  • Complete 1-3 healthful, environmentally friendly actions per day for 30 days
  • Get access to five LIVE weekly webinars
  • Track your progress via mobile app
