What is this year’s TCCA conference about?

The themes for this year’s TCCA leadership conference are “Protect life and diligently work for the good of all” and “Join hands together to spread love with faith, vows, and action.” By building upon prior teachings, this year’s set of workshops, speakers, and classes will empower youths to forge a healthier, more equitable, and sustainable future.

Our slogan for the conference, “One light shines bright, many lights illuminate the night,” refers to our goal of broadening each individual Tzu Ching member’s perspective regarding service and care for their community. By expanding our awareness from local chapters to the wider issues affecting both the nation and the planet, we hope to instill a sense of agency within each Tzu Ching member, facilitating unity and collaboration with core Tzu Chi values such as gratitude, respect, and Great Love in mind. Ultimately, this year’s conference will create a space where Tzu Ching members can reaffirm their vows to act diligently with love, kindness, and purpose alongside other like-minded and compassionate young leaders.

We will also recognize the 30th anniversary of Tzu Ching, and bring attention to the activities and missions of Tzu Ching on a global scale. Young leaders around the US will be able to understand the history of organized youth activities in Tzu Chi and the critical role that youths continue to play today.
